🥘 Job Description: Kitchen Helper Position

The Kitchen Helper supports chefs and cooks in daily food preparation and kitchen operations. This role ensures cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen while assisting with basic cooking tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
• Dispose of waste and follow hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist cooks and chefs during busy service hours.
• Restock pantry and kitchen supplies as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
• Prior experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
