Home Nurse – Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and record vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Administer medications as per doctor’s instructions and maintain medication schedules.
• Support mobility, including helping patients walk, use wheelchairs, or move in and out of bed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the patient’s surroundings and personal items.
• Observe and report any changes in the patient’s health condition to family members or medical professionals.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and comfort to the patient.
• Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and basic first aid where necessary.
• Ensure safety precautions to prevent falls or injuries.
• Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and family members regarding care plans.
