JOB DESCRIPTION: REFERRAL MARKETING


Department: Sales & Marketing


Reports to: Assistant Manager / Manager – Referral Marketing


Location: Rajaji Nagar and Padmanabha Nagar Bangalore.


  • Referral Network Expansion & Retention

Objective: To build and maintain a robust pipeline of referring partners.

KPIs:

✔      New Doctor Empanelment: Number of new GPs/Specialists added to the network monthly.

✔      Active Partner Ratio: Percentage of the 100+ "A-category" doctors who refer at least one patient per month.

✔      Field Discipline: Consistently clocking 10–15 quality field visits per day.


  • Revenue & Volume Growth (OPD/IPD)

 

Objective: To drive measurable patient footfall through the referral channel.

KPIs:

✔      Conversion Ratio: Percentage of referrals that successfully convert into Admissions (IPD) or Consultations (OPD).

✔      Revenue Target: Achievement of the monthly/quarterly revenue value assigned to the specific territory.

✔      Specialty Penetration: Growth in referrals for high-value services like Robotic Surgery or Advanced Diagnostics.

  • Relationship Management & "Green Channel" Service

 

Objective: To ensure the hospital is the "Top of Mind" choice for doctors and a seamless experience for patients.

 

KPIs:

✔      Turnaround Time (TAT): Speed of facilitating appointments/admissions for referred patients.

✔      Doctor Satisfaction Score: Feedback from referring doctors regarding the ease of coordination and clinical updates received.

✔      Issue Resolution: Closing any grievances from referring partners within 24–48 hours.

 

  • Marketing Events & Clinical Engagement

Objective: To increase brand recall through educational and networking events.

KPIs:

✔      Event Execution: Number of CMEs, Round Table Meets, or Health Camps conducted versus the monthly plan.

✔      Attendance Quality: Number of "A-category" doctors attending the organized events.

✔      Post-Event ROI: Number of new referrals generated within 30 days of a specific event.

  1. Data Reporting & MIS Management

Objective: To maintain transparent and actionable data for the management.

KPIs:

✔      Reporting Accuracy: Timely submission of Daily Call Reports (DCR) and monthly MIS.

✔      Market Intelligence: Providing monthly updates on competitor activities (pricing, new doctors, or technology) in the Bangalore territory.

  • Educational Qualification

✔      Essential: Any Graduate degree (B.Sc., B.Pharma, or BBA).

✔      Preferred (Senior Role): MBA in Marketing or Healthcare/Hospital Management.

✔      Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital service lines (e.g., Cardiology, Oncology, Orthopaedics).
