Job Summary:

The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the production facility in compliance with food safety regulations. This role supports the quality assurance team to ensure a safe and sanitized environment for food production.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure daily cleaning and sanitization of production areas, equipment, and tools.
• Follow and implement SOPs for hygiene and sanitation as per industry and FSSAI standards.
• Assist in monitoring pest control, waste management, and water sanitation practices.
• Maintain hygiene logs and cleaning checklists with proper documentation.
• Support production staff in maintaining personal hygiene and usage of protective gear.
• Report any hygiene-related issues or non-compliances to the QA or Hygiene Officer.
• Participate in hygiene audits and training sessions.

• Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum qualification: 10th Pass; Certification in Food Safety/Sanitation preferred.
• Prior experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and hygiene protocols.
• Physically fit and able to work in production environments and shifts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
