Housekeeping Personnel – Specialty Coffee Shop

OverviewWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Personnel to maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout our specialty coffee shop. This role ensures that our café provides a welcoming, comfortable, and safe environment for customers and staff at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the café’s dining area, service counters, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, floors, and high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Manage waste and recycling, including emptying bins and ensuring proper disposal.
• Support baristas by keeping equipment areas tidy and restocked with essential items (napkins, straws, sugar, sleeves, etc.).
• Monitor restroom supplies and cleanliness throughout operating hours.
• Perform routine deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., floor scrubbing, dusting vents, cleaning glass, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Assist with receiving and organizing supply deliveries when needed.
• Report maintenance needs or safety hazards promptly to the supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not required).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions independently.
