Job PurposeTo maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and operational readiness of the APCA area, ensuring the parcel handling zone, surrounding corridors, and customer interaction areas remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.

• Key Responsibilities1. Cleaning & MaintenanceClean and maintain APCA machines, kiosks, and surrounding areas as per housekeeping schedule.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors around parcel locker systems and customer access areas.
• Ensure dust-free surfaces including parcel lockers, counters, kiosks, and display panels.
• Clean glass panels, signage boards, and machine exteriors regularly.
• Maintain odor-free and hygienic environment around the APCA zone.
• 2. Waste ManagementCollect and dispose of packaging waste such as cartons, tapes, wrappers, and plastic materials.
• Segregate waste as per dry and wet waste management guidelines.
• Ensure dustbins are emptied regularly and liners replaced.
• 3. Customer Area UpkeepMaintain cleanliness in customer waiting areas, parcel drop counters, and access pathways.
• Ensure the entry/exit areas are clean and clutter-free.
• Immediately clean spills or debris that may create safety hazards.
• 4. Hygiene & SanitizationRegularly disinfect touchpoints such as machine handles, touchscreens, locker doors, and counters.
• Follow hygiene protocols and use appropriate cleaning chemicals.
• 5. Stock & Material ManagementMaintain adequate stock of cleaning chemicals, mops, wipes, and consumables.
• Report shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• 6. Issue ReportingImmediately report:
• 
  
• Machine damage
• Spillages
• Safety hazards
• Locker area obstructions
• Pest sightings
• Inform supervisor if parcel area requires deep cleaning or maintenance.
• 7. Compliance & SafetyFollow facility safety guidelines and housekeeping SOPs.
• Use PPE such as gloves and masks while handling waste and chemicals.
• Ensure no cleaning activity disrupts parcel operations or customers.
• Skills & RequirementsBasic understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Good physical stamina.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to work in shift-based operations.
• Working ConditionsWork in indoor operational areas with parcel handling activity.
• May require standing, bending, and lifting light materials.
