Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-orientated and proactive HR Generalist / HR Operations Executive to manage and streamline end-to-end HR processes and employee lifecycle activities. The role is responsible for overseeing onboarding, compliance, attendance, payroll inputs, employee communication, and engagement, ensuring smooth HR operations in alignment with organisational culture and goals.

  • Key Responsibilities

1. Onboarding & Orientation

  • Coordinate new employee orientation, induction, and the D90 handholding programme during probation.
  • Oversee asset allocation, uniforms, access cards, and system access provisioning.

2. Attendance & Leave Governance

  • Manage attendance systems and shift governance.
  • Monitor leave records and absenteeism; implement leave policies and controls.

3. Employee Discipline & Conduct

  • Enforce daily discipline standards and behavioural protocols.
  • Implement and manage disciplinary SOPs; handle minor misconduct independently.
  • Support in conflict resolution with fairness and sensitivity.

4. Communication & Engagement

  • Circulate HR communications via emails, circulars, WhatsApp groups, etc.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives aligned with company culture.

5. Performance & Training

  • Support execution of performance management cycles and reviews.
  • Track underperformance, initiate PIPs, and assist in capability-building plans.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training needs across functions.

6. Culture Enforcement

  • Promote hygiene, conduct, and behaviour aligned with the organisation’s values.
  • Act as a custodian of the cultural framework on the shop floor/office.

7. Exit Management & Retention

  • Manage exit processes, including handover, interviews, and F&F closure.
  • Track attrition trends and contribute to churn control strategies.

8. Payroll Operations

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll inputs and incentive/variable computations.
  • Assist in resolving payroll disputes and employee escalations.

9. HR Data & Reporting

  • Maintain and update HR MIS, dashboards, trackers, and periodic reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee records for audits and compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of HR operations, labour law basics, and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills.
