Indian Cook

Job Description (JD)We are looking for an experienced and skilled Indian Cook to prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, hygiene, and food safety.

• Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook Indian vegetarian dishes as per menu requirements.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and consistency at all times.
• Plan daily menus and manage food preparation accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, and work area.
• Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor raw material usage and inform management for timely purchase.
• Minimize food wastage and follow proper storage practices.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Required Skills & Qualities:Good knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking methods.
• Ability to cook in bulk (hotel / mess / canteen experience preferred).
• Time management and multitasking skills.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours if required.
