Key ResponsibilitiesWorking Drawings & Technical Documentation

• Prepare detailed interior working drawings, including:
• Furniture layouts
• Carpentry and joinery details
• Wardrobe and kitchen drawings
• Custom furniture details
• False ceiling, lighting & electrical coordination drawings
• Flooring and wall finish layouts
• Ensure all drawings are clear, precise, and site-executable.
• Revise and update drawings based on design changes and site feedback.

Coordination & Site Support

• Coordinate closely with interior designers, project managers, and site teams.
• Assist in clarifying drawings to carpenters, vendors, and contractors.
• Support the execution team by resolving drawing-related queries.
• Visit sites when required to verify dimensions and execution accuracy.

Quality & Standards

• Follow studio drawing standards, layer systems, and naming conventions.
• Cross-check drawings to avoid clashes between carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and ceiling layouts.
• Ensure detailing aligns with material specifications and execution feasibility.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Drafting.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in interior working drawings.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and expertise in identifying efficient and functional layouts for diverse spaces.
• Strong understanding of Architecture and the ability to create detailed and accurate Construction Drawings on AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and design teams.
• Good understanding of:
• Interior materials and finishes
• Basic carpentry construction methods
• Residential execution practices
• Ability to read architectural drawings and site dimensions accurately.
