Job Description:

As an Interior Designer at Rao Space - Home Interior, you will play a pivotal role in designing and executing interior spaces that exceed our clients' expectations. You will combine your architectural expertise with a keen eye for design to create harmonious and functional interiors. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Client Consultation:

  - Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.

  - Gather information about the project's scope, purpose, and any specific requirements.

2. Space Planning:

  - Develop detailed floor plans and layouts that optimize the use of space.

  - Consider traffic flow, accessibility, and functionality to create efficient layouts.

3. Concept Development:

  - Create design concepts, mood boards, and color schemes aligned with client vision.

  - Present concepts for client approval and make adjustments based on feedback.

4. Material and Finish Selection:

  - Choose materials, finishes, and textiles for walls, floors, ceilings, and furnishings.

  - Consider factors like durability, aesthetics, maintenance, and budget constraints.

5. Furniture and Fixture Selection:

  - Source and select furniture, lighting, and fixtures.

  - Ensure selections fit the design concept and meet functional requirements.

6. 3D Modeling and Visualization:

  - Utilize CAD software to create 3D models and renderings for client visualization.

7. Budget Management:

  - Develop and manage project budgets, estimating costs for materials, labor, and furnishings.

  - Ensure projects stay within budget constraints.

8. Project Coordination:

  - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and professionals to align interior design with building design.

  - Ensure compliance with safety and building code requirements.

9. Documentation:

  - Create detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules for contractors and tradespeople.

  - Guide the construction and installation process.

10. Construction Administration:

   - Monitor construction or renovation to ensure correct design implementation.

   - Make real-time adjustments as needed.

11. Client Communication:

   - Maintain open and clear communication with clients throughout the project.

   - Provide updates, address concerns, and obtain approvals.

12. Sustainability:

   - Implement sustainable design practices and materials to minimize environmental impact.

   - Promote energy efficiency in interior spaces.

13. Trends and Research:

   - Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and emerging technologies.

   - Offer innovative and up-to-date design solutions.

14. Project Completion:

   - Ensure the interior space meets client satisfaction.

   - Oversee final inspections, snagging, and project handover.

15. Portfolio Development:

   - Continually build and update a portfolio showcasing completed projects.

   - Attract new clients and showcase design skills.

Qualifications:

- bachelor’s or Master's degree in Interior Design.

- Proficiency in SketchUp, VRay and Auto CAD

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Creative and innovative design sensibilities.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
