Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:1. Design DevelopmentCreate design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare mood boards, 2D floor plans, and 3D renderings for client approval.
- Develop detailed working drawings, joinery details, and material specifications.
- Maintain design consistency and aesthetics across all project stages.
- 2. Client InteractionConduct client meetings to understand requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Present design proposals effectively through visuals, samples, and narratives.
- Incorporate client feedback and ensure timely approvals.
- 3. Project CoordinationWork closely with site teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed on-site.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for materials, furniture, and finishes.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve design-related issues.
- 4. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate project documentation — including design drawings, revisions, and approval logs.
- Update project timelines, budgets, and progress reports.
- Support senior designers or project leads in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
- 5. Team CollaborationCollaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technology to bring innovation to every project.
- Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in interior design (luxury/residential segment preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Strong aesthetic sense, spatial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage timelines efficiently.
- Preferred Attributes:Passion for luxury interiors, craftsmanship, and fine detailing.
