Interior Site Supervisor

The Site Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day on-site execution and quality control of home interior works, while supporting coordination, technical verification, and client updates as per defined processes.

Reporting To

·       Operations Head

Projects Handled

·       2–4 active residential interior projects

(apartments / villas / independent houses)

Core Responsibilities

1️⃣ On-Site Supervision (Primary Responsibility)

(Supervisor Core)

·       Be physically present during all critical installation stages

(kitchen, wardrobe, carpentry, electrical, plumbing)

·       Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings & scope

·       Monitor workmanship quality and finish standards

·       Coordinate installers, carpenters, electricians & plumbers on site

·       Verify materials received at site against delivery challans

·       Maintain site discipline, safety, and cleanliness

2️⃣ Execution Coordination (Partial Site Co-ordinator Role)

·       Coordinate with:

o  Factory / production team

o  Logistics & delivery team

o  Installation teams

·       Share site readiness confirmations before dispatch

·       Update daily progress status to the office team

·       Inform delays, dependencies, or risks in advance

·       Follow installation sequencing as per schedule

Note: Final scheduling decisions remain with the Project Manager / Co-ordinator.

3️⃣ Technical Site Verification (Limited Site Engineer Role)

·       Take site measurements and cross-verify with drawings

·       Identify site-level constraints:

o  wall deviations

o  plumbing/electrical clashes

o  beam / column interferences

·       Flag mismatches before installation

·       Suggest practical site-based solutions for approval

·       Ensure installation tolerances and alignment standards are met

Note: Design changes or approvals must be escalated and documented.

4️⃣ Client Interaction & Updates (Controlled PM Support Role)

·       Brief the client on:

o  daily / weekly site progress

o  installation stages in simple terms

·       Handle basic client queries related to execution

·       Communicate only approved timelines & scope

·       Escalate client complaints, change requests, or conflicts immediately

❌ Not authorized to:

·       commit new timelines

·       approve changes

·       discuss cost or discounts

5️⃣ Documentation & Reporting

·       Maintain site photographs & videos

·       Update progress checklists

·       Record deviations, rework, and rectifications

·       Submit daily / weekly site status reports

·       Maintain handover punch-list with PM

Authority & Boundaries (Very Important)

Authorized To

✔ Control daily site execution

✔ Coordinate installers & vendors

✔ Stop work if quality is compromised

✔ Escalate risks or delays

Not Authorized To

❌ Approve design changes

❌ Commit delivery dates

❌ Approve additional costs

❌ Modify BOQ or scope

Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

·       1-3 years experience in home interiors execution

·       Strong understanding of:

o  modular kitchens

o  wardrobes

o  site carpentry

·       Ability to read basic drawings

·       Good communication (client + team)

·       Two-wheeler with local travel ability

Preferred

·       Diploma / Civil background

·       Experience in modular factory coordination

·       Smartphone-based reporting familiarity
