Inventory Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Inventory Person for Hospital to manage stock control, inventory records, and supply coordination for our Veterinary Hospital pharmacy. The candidate will ensure timely availability of medicines, vaccines, pet supplements, surgical consumables, and other pharmacy essentials while maintaining proper documentation and stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stock Management:

• Maintain accurate stock levels of veterinary medicines, vaccines, syrups, injections, pet supplements, ointments, etc.
• Track daily stock movement (inward, outward, returns, damaged stock)
• Ensure minimum stock level is maintained to avoid shortages
• Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and reconcile mismatches
• Follow up on pending deliveries and ensure timely stock replenishment

Expiry & Batch Control :

• Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions
• Arrange FEFO (First Expiry First Out) dispatching to reduce wastage
• Maintain records for near-expiry items and report to management

Documentation & Billing Support :

• Maintain proper inventory records in Excel / Inventory Software / Hospital system
• Support pharmacy team in updating medicine entries and price lists
• Assist in maintaining invoices, GRNs, stock registers, and audit-ready documentation

Accounting & Administration :

• Ensure entire accounting of the hospital's revenue, expenses and other costs.
• Manage billing of pets, payment collections, pending payouts, etc.
• Handle day to day administration work of hospital.
