Key Responsibilities of a Storekeeper:

Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, ensuring items are properly stored, and maintaining accurate records. 

Receiving and Handling: Receiving deliveries, unloading and shelving supplies, and inspecting items for damage. 

Documentation: Maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals of stockroom items, and ensuring proper documentation. 

Stock Rotation: Rotating stock to prevent spoilage and ensure the oldest items are used first. 

Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of the store and its inventory. 

Customer Service: Assisting customers with their purchases and answering their questions. 

Administration: Processing paperwork, initiating purchase requisitions, and managing returns.
