IT Team Leader

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Hardware & Infrastructure Engineer who can independently handle end-to-end IT setup whenever the company opens a new office or branch. The ideal candidate should be capable of building IT infrastructure from scratch and managing all hardware, networking, system installations, and related support activities.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure Setup (Main Responsibility)

 Plan and execute complete IT setup for new office locations from scratch.

 Install and configure computers, laptops, printers, routers, switches, and other hardware.

 Create and implement LAN/WAN network layouts.

 Coordinate for internet connections with ISPs and ensure smooth installation.

 Set up CCTV, biometrics, and access control systems (if required).

 Ensure power backup, network cabling, and server room setup is completed as per standards.

2. Hardware Installation & Maintenance

 Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.

 Perform routine hardware checks and preventive maintenance.

 Maintain and manage IT inventory, asset tracking, and AMC management.

3. Networking

 Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

 Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.

 Ensure network security and data protection.

4. Software & System Support

 Install operating systems, required applications, and security tools.

 Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations.

 Provide technical support to employees for hardware and system issues.

5. Vendor & Coordination

 Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, internet setup, and IT services.

 Evaluate quotations and negotiate for competitive pricing.

 Ensure timely delivery and installation of all IT equipment.

6. Documentation & Reporting

 Maintain complete documentation of branch IT setup, network diagrams, and configuration details.

 Prepare reports on IT assets, issues resolved, and infrastructure status.

🔹 Skills & Qualifications

Required:

 Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.

 2–5 years of experience in IT hardware, networking, or infrastructure setup.

 Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.

 Ability to install and troubleshoot Windows OS, drivers, and applications.

 Good problem-solving and communication skills.

 Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
