Jewellery Store Manager

Naga Gold is a gold buying company specializing in the purchase of gold jewellery, coins, and scrap gold at transparent, market-linked prices. We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer handling, and gold buying transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Store Manager in managing daily store operations of a gold buying outlet

Handle customer walk-ins for gold selling, valuation, and purchase transactions

Accurately assess gold purity, weight, and value using testing equipment

Explain gold rates, deductions, and settlement processes clearly to customers

Ensure smooth billing, cash handling, and bank transfers as per compliance norms

Supervise staff and ensure adherence to SOPs and security protocols

Maintain proper records for gold purchase, inventory, and audits

Coordinate with head office for pricing updates and operational reporting

Support local marketing activities to increase walk-ins and conversions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Prior experience in gold buying, jewellery retail, or bullion trade

Strong knowledge of gold purity testing, karat valuation, and market pricing

Experience in handling high-value transactions with accuracy and integrity

Good communication and customer trust-building skills

Working knowledge of POS, billing, and inventory systems

Preferred Background:

Experience with gold buying companies or jewellery chains

Familiarity with compliance, KYC norms, and documentation
