Job Title: Junior Interior Designer (0–2 Years Experience)
Location: Bangalore, India

🎯 Role Summary:
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 0–2 years of experience in residential and/or commercial interiors. The ideal candidate will support the team in developing concepts, preparing drawings, creating 3D models, and assisting in execution coordination to ensure design intent is delivered smoothly at the site.
This role requires a balance of design sensibility, technical learning ability, and execution understanding. You’ll work closely with senior designers and the execution team to deliver projects that reflect Space Craft’s philosophy of creating luxurious, functional, and emotionally resonant spaces.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
1. Design Development
- Interpret client briefs with guidance and support in developing space planning and design ideas
- Assist in creating mood boards, color palettes, and material selections
- Support 2D layouts, elevations, and drafting in AutoCAD
- Prepare 3D models and basic renders using SketchUp, Lumion, or Enscape
- Assist in preparing design proposals and presentations
2. Technical & Documentation
- Support detailed working drawings for carpentry, electrical, ceiling, and flooring
- Coordinate with internal teams/consultants for lighting and MEP inputs (under guidance)
- Assist in BOQ preparation and documentation for materials and vendor selections
- Maintain proper file structure, revisions, and version control for drawings
3. Project Coordination
- Participate in site visits for measurements, supervision support, and quality checks
- Assist in coordination with vendors, contractors, and material suppliers
- Track progress updates and support timelines for deliverables
- Assist in basic cost estimation and material planning support
4. Client & Team Communication
- Support client communications for approvals, updates, and design clarifications
- Participate in internal design reviews and brainstorming sessions
- Collaborate with senior designers and execution team for smooth project delivery
- Maintain clear documentation and task updates within the team
🧠 Required Skills & Competencies
🎨 Design & Aesthetic Skills
- Strong eye for detail, color, form, and proportion
- Ability to assist in designing functional and balanced spaces
- Basic awareness of contemporary trends, materials, and finishes
💻 Technical Proficiency
- AutoCAD – layouts, drafting, and basic detailing
- SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit / Blender – 3D modeling and visualization
- Lumion / Enscape / V-Ray – rendering and walkthrough support (basic)
- Photoshop / InDesign / Illustrator – presentation boards and mood boards
- Basic knowledge of site execution, modular furniture, and joinery details (preferred)
🏗️ Execution & Coordination Skills
- Willingness to travel for site visits and learn execution workflow
- Understanding of materials (laminates, PU, veneers, stones, glass, etc.)
- Ability to support BOQ preparation, vendor coordination, and site follow-ups
- Interest in high-quality finishing and luxury detailing (added advantage)

📈 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture
- 0–2 years of experience in an interior design firm or studio (internship experience accepted)
- Strong portfolio showcasing academic/professional projects (2D + 3D)
- Understanding of project workflow from concept to site execution (basic level)
