Job Description – Kitchen Helper (Zostel / Zo Properties)Role OverviewWe are hiring a dependable and efficient Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations at Zostel / Zo properties. The role involves assisting the Chef, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth meal service for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash utensils and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
• Assist the Chef with food preparation and ingredient handling
• Help in serving food, including room service when required
• Ensure hygiene standards are followed at all times
• Dispose of waste responsibly and manage basic kitchen cleaning routines
• Refill water, keep storage areas organized, and restock essentials
• Assist during meal hours for smooth kitchen functioning
• Report any issues with kitchen equipment or cleanliness to the Chef or Property Manager

Working Conditions

• Minimum 8-hour shift per day (1 hour break, total 9 hours)
• 1 rotational weekly off
• Accommodation and staff meals provided (depending on the property)
• Night kitchen helpers may collaborate with housekeeping staff if required
