Job Summary

The Kitchen Staff member is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to Merry Berry standards, ensuring hygiene, safety, and quality control. They must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to deliver timely, delicious meals to customers while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Merry Berry recipes and standards.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
  • Monitor food stock levels and report shortages.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
  • Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean and sanitized.
  • Dispose of waste properly and maintain a tidy kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and protective gear.
  • Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
