Job Summary
The Kitchen Staff member is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to Merry Berry standards, ensuring hygiene, safety, and quality control. They must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to deliver timely, delicious meals to customers while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Merry Berry recipes and standards.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
- Monitor food stock levels and report shortages.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Ensure the kitchen and workstations are clean and sanitized.
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain a tidy kitchen environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain personal hygiene and wear the required uniform and protective gear.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff as needed.
