Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by NABL, our lab delivers mechanical, chemical, and non-destructive testing for concrete, steel, soil, and allied materials. With a team of 25+ professionals, we’re scaling up—and we need a decisive, technically adept Lab-In-Charge to lead both operations and people.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily scheduling, testing, and lab maintenance; authorize test reports across mechanical, chemical & NDT disciplines.
• Team Management & Discipline: Institute clear hierarchies; delegate tasks; mentor and hold the team accountable for quality and timelines.
• Quality & Compliance: Act as the internal Quality Manager—drive ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL audits, manage CAPAs, and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Technical Client Interface: Present test methodologies and results confidently to clients; troubleshoot technical queries and reinforce our lab’s credibility.
• Strategic Decision-Making: Make swift, data-driven choices on testing protocols, resource allocation, and process improvements.
• Business Development Support: Partner with sales to showcase our technical strengths; attend client meetings as the lab’s subject-matter expert.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil Engineering or M.Sc in Materials Science
• 8–10 years’ experience in construction materials testing within ISO/IEC 17025 labs
• Proven track record supervising multi-discipline testing teams
• Hands-on expertise in concrete, steel, soil tests & NDT methods (Rebound Hammer, UPV, Core Testing)
• Exceptional leadership: firm yet approachable; enforces discipline while fostering collaboration
• Strong communicator—internal reporting and client presentations
• Sharp analytical and negotiation skills; comfortable making high-impact decisions under pressure
