Lab Support Engineer

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in core Electrical and electronics hardware assembly, VI, testing
• Must be proficient in soldering of through-hole & SMD components
• Must be good at soldering common packages like 0603, 0805, 1206, 2512, SOT-23, TSSOP-14/16 (0.65MM PITCH, 0.8MM PITCH), TQFP/LQFP(0.5mm pitch, 0.4mm pitch), QFN, etc.
• Must be good at using soldering, desoldering & rework tools
• Must be well versed with electronic assembly procedure & guidelines
• Must be well versed with ESD safe material handling practices
• Must know how to use basic laboratory instruments like multimeter, mixed-signal oscilloscope, programmable power supplies, etc

• Must have good problem-solving skills
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be open to working in a highly dynamic startup environment

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, management and organisation of component inventory
• Assembly of electronic boards and systems
• Identification of vendors & Procurement of electronic components
• Board bring-up and hardware testing
