Lady Guard - Loss Prevention Associate

As a Loss Prevention Associate (LPA) at Reliance Retail, you will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, reducing shrinkage, and ensuring a safe shopping environment for customers and employees. You will play a key role in executing Reliance’s security and loss prevention strategies, monitoring store operations, and supporting investigations and compliance initiatives.

• Key Responsibilities:🔐 Theft & Shrink ControlMonitor store premises and identify suspicious behavior through physical patrols and CCTV systems.
• Apprehend shoplifters and handle cases as per Reliance policy and applicable laws.
• Conduct employee bag checks and monitor stock movement to prevent internal theft.
• 📋 Compliance & AuditingConduct regular audits of high-value merchandise, stockrooms, and security equipment.
• Support inventory teams during stock counts and report anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with Reliance Retail’s SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) on safety and loss prevention.
• 🛡️ Safety & Risk ManagementAssist in maintaining fire safety standards, crowd control, and emergency preparedness.
• Support store teams in responding to incidents such as medical emergencies or conflicts.
• Report hazards or violations promptly to ensure a secure store environment.
• 📷 Surveillance & Technology UseOperate surveillance systems (CCTV, EAS gates, etc.) effectively to monitor real-time activities.
• Ensure all security equipment is functional and escalate issues for repairs if needed.
• 📑 Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate logs of incidents, shoplifting cases, and daily activity reports.
• Assist in investigation documentation for both internal and external cases.
• 🤝 Training & Team CollaborationTrain and guide store staff on basic loss prevention techniques and awareness.
• Work closely with store managers, inventory teams, and external security vendors.
