Lift/Elevator Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Lift Technician to install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and related systems. The candidate should ensure smooth and safe operation of all lift equipment while following safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install new elevators, escalators, and lifting systems

Perform routine maintenance and servicing of lifts

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs (mechanical & electrical)

Handle emergency breakdown calls and troubleshooting

Ensure safety compliance and proper functioning of all equipment

Maintain service records and reports

Coordinate with clients and site engineers

Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field

1–5 years of experience in lift installation or maintenance

Basic knowledge of lift controllers and wiring systems

Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams

Good problem-solving skills

Willingness to travel to sites

Preferred Skills

Experience with automatic lifts and control panels

Knowledge of safety standards and regulations

Teamwork and communication skills
