Linux Fedora Installation Hardware Installation Networking Concepts

·      Develop and maintain Private Cloud and assist in deploying and running software on Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure clouds.

·      Manage Linux/Unix systems, install/configure new servers based on standards and operational requirements.

·      Install and maintain the OS, including patching, new installs, and upgrades.

·      Configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the Linux environment.

·      Perform daily monitoring, including hardware, applications, key processes, and scheduled jobs.

·      Maintain daily backup operations following operational guidelines.

·      Develop, maintain, and contribute to installation and configuration procedures documentation.

·      Create, deploy, and scale using Docker Management and Orchestration.

·      Perform regular security monitoring of the Linux environment.

·      Deploy code in Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure platforms.

·      Develop and advance systems for continuous integration and deployment.

·      Work with infrastructure automation and source code management.

·      Manage user accounts and access to systems.

·      Carry out root cause analysis based on system monitoring, performance, and reliability metrics and support incidents to maintain high availability and improve efficiencies.

·      Plan and execute tasks and projects with minimal supervision.

·      Maintain best practices for managing systems and services across all environments.

Preferred Skills:

·      Understanding of load balancing technology, server farms, and web services.

·      Familiarity with DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP, and SSL technical knowledge and experience with Linux in Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure platforms.

·      In-depth knowledge of Linux distributions such as Fedora, RedHat, CentOS, and Debian.

·      Hands-on experience with MySQL and other NoSQL databases.

·      Experience with virtualization technologies.

·      Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server systems.

·      Additional Linux certifications (RHCT, RHCE, and LPIC) will be considered an advantage.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar relevant degree.

·      Minimum of 2+ years of Linux administration/engineering experience or cloud operations role.

·      Experience with Linux-based OS configuration, automation (CI/CD Tools), and management.

·      Proficient in shell scripting, cron jobs, user account management, analyzing logs, and configuration of network and mail services.

·      Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.

·      Excellent written and oral communication skills, including documentation.

·      Ability to work in a team environment and individually.
