Manager - Projects

We are seeking a proactive Project Manager (Toolroom) to oversee projects related to plastic injection moulding tool design, development, and manufacturing. The role requires technical expertise, people management, and strong project execution skills to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and seamless ERP compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete lifecycle of toolroom projects – from tool design approval to tool trials and customer handover.
• Lead and work closely with cross-functional teams (design, machining, assembly, quality, and trials).
• Plan, allocate, and monitor project resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Ensure all ERP entries, project tracking, and reporting are accurate and updated regularly.
• Maintain project documentation, tool records, and quality compliance as per company standards.
• Conduct progress meetings with internal teams and customers to review milestones.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot tool-related issues, and ensure preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and adherence to 5S in the toolroom.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of plastic injection moulding tool design, tool manufacturing, and trials.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Good understanding of machining processes (CNC, EDM, grinding, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in ERP monitoring, project documentation, and standard compliance.
• Strong leadership, team handling, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
