Job Description

Position: Field Marketing Agent Industry: Fasteners Manufacturing/Distribution Location: Field-based (various locations) Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: As a Field Marketing Agent for a fasteners company, your primary responsibility will be to promote and market the company's fastener products to potential customers within designated territories. You will play a crucial role in generating leads, establishing relationships with clients, and driving sales growth. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to work independently while achieving set targets. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Market Research: Gather market intelligence, identify potential customers, and assess competitor activities to develop effective marketing strategies. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by providing product information, addressing inquiries, and offering solutions to meet their fastener requirements. Sales and Lead Generation: Actively prospect for new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert leads into sales by presenting product offerings, conducting product demonstrations, and negotiating contracts. Territory Management: Manage assigned territories efficiently, plan and prioritize sales activities, schedule customer visits, and maintain regular contact with customers to drive sales growth. Product Promotion: Execute marketing campaigns, attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to showcase fastener products, increase brand visibility, and generate sales leads. Technical Assistance: Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding fastener selection, installation, and application requirements. Sales Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, market trends, and competitor activities, and provide insights and recommendations to the management team. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, customer service, and other internal departments to ensure seamless order processing, timely delivery, and overall customer satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus). Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the fasteners industry or a related field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships. Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide suitable solutions. Self-motivated and target-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Knowledge of fasteners, industrial hardware, or construction products is highly desirable. Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office applications, and other sales-related tools. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territories.
