Mechanical CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Excellent knowledge & Experience in Design & Quality management of machine parts
2. Create and Modify Drawings: Produce detailed technical drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD software like AutoCAD, based on specifications and instructions from engineers, architects, and designers.
3. Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to understand project requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure designs are accurate and meet project goals.
4. Ensure Standards and Compliance: Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
5. Manage Documentation: Maintain an organized library of CAD files, drawings, and project documentation, including revisions, for record-keeping and future reference.
6. Conduct Quality Checks: Review and analyze blueprints and technical documents to identify potential errors, inconsistencies, or design issues before final submission.
7. Site Visits (as needed): Occasionally visit construction or manufacturing sites to gather information, take measurements, or oversee the implementation of designs and address any on-site design problems.
8. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, or MicroStation is a plus).
9. Strong technical drawing and drafting skills, with a solid understanding of drafting standards, symbols, and conventions.
10. Experience with 2D and 3D modeling and rendering techniques.
11. Strong mathematical skills for calculating dimensions, angles, and material requirements.
