Mechanical Design Cum Production Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components and systems using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on project requirements
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Prepare engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection
• Review designs for manufacturability, cost efficiency, and quality
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure design intent is met
• Support prototype development, testing, and design validation
• Revise and improve existing designs based on feedback and performance data
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and drafting standards

Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, casting, etc.)

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
