Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to handle end-to-end product design and development.

The role involves creating functional designs, detailed CAD models, and production-ready drawings while working closely with manufacturing and prototyping teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings for mechanical components and assemblies
• Work on product design, mechanism design, and structural concepts
• Prepare manufacturing-ready drawings with GD&T
• Coordinate with 3D Printing, machining, sheet metal, and casting teams
• Support prototyping, testing, and design validation activities
• Handle reverse engineering projects using 3D scan data
• Participate in design reviews and client discussions when required

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in multiple CAD software
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes including 3D Printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, and casting
• Knowledge of materials, tolerances, and fits
• Ability to convert concepts into practical, manufacturable designs
