Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPossess strong knowledge of MEP materials including:
- HVAC systems (ducts, insulation, chillers, VRF systems)
- Electrical materials (cables, panels, conduits, switchgear)
- Plumbing & firefighting systems (pipes, valves, fittings, pumps)
- Review project specifications, BOQs, and drawings to identify material requirements
- Verify material submittals and ensure compliance with approved standards
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material selection and vendor approvals
- Conduct material inspections and quality checks at site
- Maintain material tracking, inventory, and documentation
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding technical queries
- Ensure materials meet safety and regulatory standards
- Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction materials
- Experience in reading drawings and technical specifications
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic project documentation tools
