Job Description
- 1. Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock records of all MEP materials (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing).
- Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum stock availability.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Maintain ERP / Excel-based inventory systems.
- 2. Material Receipt & InspectionVerify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure quality and quantity checks for received materials.
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection (if required).
- Record GRN (Goods Receipt Note) in the system.
- 3. Material IssuanceIssue materials to site/project teams as per approved requests.
- Maintain proper documentation for all material movements.
- Track consumption and report variances.
- 4. Store OperationsEnsure proper storage, stacking, and safety of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Implement FIFO / LIFO methods where applicable.
- 5. CoordinationCoordinate with procurement team for material requirements.
- Liaise with project managers and site engineers for planning.
- Follow up on pending deliveries and shortages.
- 6. Documentation & ReportingMaintain all store-related records (GRN, MRN, stock register).
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation for audits.
