Role Overview

HCX is hiring a Billing Executive for a leading healthcare institution. The role is responsible for accurate patient billing, insurance coordination, and ensuring smooth financial transactions at the hospital front office and accounts desk.

• Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate accurate IP/OP patient bills as per hospital tariff and package guidelines
• Process advance payments, deposits, and final settlements
• Coordinate with TPA/insurance teams for pre-authorizations, approvals, and claim documentation
• Verify services, procedures, pharmacy, and diagnostic entries before final billing
• Handle discharge billing and ensure timely clearance
• Maintain billing records, daily collections, and reconciliation reports
• Address patient billing queries with clarity and professionalism
• Coordinate with clinical, pharmacy, and accounts teams for error-free billing
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing SOPs and audit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Graduate in Commerce or relevant field preferred
• 2–4 years of billing experience in hospital or healthcare setup
• Familiarity with TPA/insurance processes and cashless claims
• Proficiency in hospital billing software and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Key SkillsNumerical accuracy and reconciliation ability
• Patient-facing communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
