Role Overview:

We are looking for an Operations and Purchase Consultant to join our dynamic team at Indibuying. This role will primarily involve conducting market research, identifying and liaising with manufacturers, acquiring quotes, processing orders, and monitoring logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Some travel for audits and meetings may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify reliable manufacturers and suppliers in India.
• Acquire quotes from manufacturers and ensure pricing competitiveness.
• Process orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor logistics to ensure the smooth flow of products from manufacturers to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure products meet client specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to negotiate better deals and ensure long-term partnerships.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in market research, purchasing, or procurement.
• Strong understanding of the manufacturing and sourcing process, particularly in India.
• Ability to analyze market trends and identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with sourcing platforms and tools is a plus.
