Job Description

Core Responsibilities

A) Store Operations and Sales

● Run end to end store operations: opening, closing, shift readiness, daily checklist

compliance

● Drive sales through customer interaction, product knowledge, upsell and cross sell

● Maintain visual merchandising standards: display hygiene, pricing tags, replenishment

● Manage billing via POS, UPI, card, cash; ensure receipt discipline

● Handle customer queries, complaints, replacements, and service recovery within

policy

● Prepare daily sales summaries, product performance insights, and exceptions

reporting

B) Inventory and Merch Control

● Own stock inwarding, tagging, binning, and system updates

● Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counts and monthly stock audits

● Track shrinkage, damages, expiries, and returns with documented approvals

● Trigger reordering and replenishment requests based on min max levels

● Coordinate with vendors for deliveries, discrepancies, and replacements

C) Ticketing Operations

● Operate ticketing counter with speed and accuracy across walk ins and bookings

● Manage ticketing software, QR scanning workflows, and entry validation coordination

● Reconcile ticket sales across payment modes; ensure zero leakage and clean logs

● Handle peak crowd management, queue discipline, and escalation to security when

needed

● Maintain daily ticketing reports: footfall, category wise sales, refunds, comps,

exceptions

D) People, Process, and Compliance

● Ensure SOP compliance across cash, refunds, discounts, comps, and inventory

movement

● Maintain safety and hygiene standards across ticketing, store and events area

● Coordinate maintenance tickets for infra issues and follow through to closure

● Support finance with billing reconciliations, deposits, and documentation discipline

Required Qualifications

● Graduate in any discipline

● 2 to 5 years experience in retail operations, front office operations, ticketing, or venue

operations

● Hands on proficiency with POS and billing systems, Excel or Google Sheets, basic

reporting

Preferred Experience

● Experience in museums, attractions, theatres, experience centres, or high footfall retail

● Exposure to ticketing platforms, QR entry systems, and booking workflows

● Basic event ops familiarity: layouts, vendor coordination, crowd flow, AV readiness


Skills and Competencies

● High ownership, execution discipline, and calm handling of peak crowd scenarios

● Strong numerical control: reconciliations, cash handling, variance prevention

● Customer first communication with firm policy enforcement

● Process mindset: checklists, logs, audit readiness

● Coordination strength across multiple teams and vendors

● Problem solving under time pressure
