• Cakes, pastries, breads, cookies, tarts, mousse, chocolates, etc.

1. Create new dessert recipes

• Design innovative desserts and seasonal menus.

1. Maintain quality & consistency

• Ensure taste, texture, and presentation meet restaurant standards.

1. Kitchen hygiene & safety

• Follow food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards (FSSAI).

1. Inventory & stock control

• Manage ingredients, minimize wastage, and place orders when required.

1. Plating & presentation

• Decorate desserts beautifully for fine-dining presentation.

1. Train junior staff

• Guide commis and helpers in pastry preparation.

1. Equipment maintenance

• Handle ovens, mixers, moulds, chocolate tempering machines safely.

1. Cost control

• Control portion sizes and ingredient costs.

1. Follow production schedules

• Prepare daily mise-en-place and bulk production.
