Pest Control Technician

Job Title: Pest Control TechnicianDepartment: OperationsReporting To: Service Supervisor / Operations ManagerJob PurposeTo carry out safe, effective, and compliant pest control treatments at customer sites, ensuring high service quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

• Key Roles & Responsibilities
• 1. Service DeliveryPerform pest control treatments for cockroaches, rodents, termites, mosquitoes, ants, bed bugs, flies, etc.
• Conduct site inspection and identify pest infestation level.
• Select and apply appropriate chemicals, baits, traps, and equipment as per SOP.
• Carry out pre- and post-treatment procedures correctly.
• 2. Safety & ComplianceFollow safety guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment.
• Use PPE (gloves, masks, goggles, etc.) during service.
• Ensure compliance with local pest control regulations and company policies.
• Maintain MSDS and treatment records when required.
• 3. Customer InteractionExplain treatment process and dos & don’ts to customers.
• Address customer queries professionally.
• Obtain service confirmation / feedback after completion.
• 4. Documentation & ReportingFill service reports, job cards, and checklists accurately.
• Update daily work status to the supervisor.
• Report repeat infestations or customer complaints promptly.
• 5. Equipment & Vehicle CareMaintain pest control equipment in good condition.
• Ensure safe storage and transportation of chemicals.
• Take responsibility for assigned vehicle / tools (if provided).
• Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of common pests and control methods
• Basic understanding of chemical usage and safety
• Good communication skills

• Physically fit for fieldwork
• QualificationsMinimum: 10th / 12th Pass
• Pest Control Training / Certification (preferred)
• Valid two-wheeler license (mandatory for field roles)
• Experience0–2 years in pest control or related field
• Freshers can be trained
