Job Description

  • Specimen Collection: Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures safely and efficiently.
  • Patient Care: Reassure anxious patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
  • Sample Management: Properly label, process, and transport blood samples to the laboratory.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and verify test requisitions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize workstations and maintain adequate supplies. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in blood collection techniques and knowledge of laboratory procedures.
