Requirement:

• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Blood Collection techniques
• Experience in Medicine or healthcare settings
• Certification in Phlebotomy or related field is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyzing blood specimens using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
• Extracting blood from patients through venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Preparing specimens for transportation, including labelling vials accurately and matching blood specimens to patients.
• Verifies patient identification and explains sampling procedures to patients.
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipuncture's and finger sticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following department procedures, and observing isolation procedures.
