Job SummaryA Picker & Packer at DMart is responsible for collecting items from the store/warehouse based on customer or internal orders, ensuring accuracy, packing products safely, and preparing them for dispatch.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPicking DutiesRead and understand order lists or pick slips.
• Locate products in the store/warehouse accurately.
• Pick items without damage and ensure correct quantity.
• Check product expiry dates and quality before picking.
• Use hand-held devices/scanners (if provided) for order processing.
• Packing DutiesPack items properly based on product type (fragile, food, non-food).
• Use packaging materials like cartons, bags, bubble wrap, etc.
• Label and seal packages correctly.
• Ensure the final package is neat, safe, and ready for delivery.
• Inventory & Store SupportAssist in stock arrangement and shelf replenishment.
• Report low stock or damaged items to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness in the picking and packing area.
• Customer & Delivery SupportSupport online order fulfilment (DMart Ready).
• Coordinate with delivery team for smooth dispatch.
• Skills & RequirementsBasic reading and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items.
• Good speed and productivity.
• Teamwork and time management.
• Educational QualificationMinimum: 10th pass or 12th pass (varies by location).
