PLC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PLC Programmer to design, develop, and maintain automation systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and a methodical approach to programming and documentation.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and test PLC programs using ladder logic, function block diagrams, or structured text
• Integrate PLCs with HMIs, SCADA systems, and other industrial devices
• Analyze system requirements and develop control strategies for automated machinery
• Modify and optimize existing PLC programs to improve performance and reliability
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless system integration
• Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems
• Maintain detailed documentation including wiring diagrams, flowcharts, and program logic
• Stay current with emerging PLC technologies and industry standards

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
• Proven experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, or Schneider
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development tools (e.g., WinCC, FactoryTalk, iFIX)
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

💡 Preferred Skills

• Experience with EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• Knowledge of servo/motion control systems
• Familiarity with safety PLCs and functional safety standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
