Job Description

Job Title: POD Manager

CTC: ₹34,000 (In-hand ₹30,200)

Employment Type: On-roll

Other Benefits: As per company policy


Job Summary: We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented POD Managers to oversee day-to-day operations of food delivery units across multiple cities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless customer experience, operational efficiency, team performance, and compliance with food safety standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:1. Customer Experience & Quality Control Ensure all food & beverage SOPs are strictly implemented and followed.
  • Conduct regular food quality and quantity checks at the unit.
  • Maintain high restaurant and section food ratings.
  • Minimize dispatch-related errors and ensure timely pickups.
  • Audit hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness as per guidelines.
  • Ensure all food products are within shelf life and 100% available to serve.
  • 2. Operational Excellence Achieve defined Audit targets and CAPD goals (AR_P, O_D & Prep Time).
  • Coordinate closely with field operations for delivery execution.
  • Forecast sales and ensure accurate indenting.
  • Monitor daily inventory and follow proper GRN processes.
  • Share daily reports as per brand SOP.
  • 3. Financial & Cost Management Achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for all controllable costs.
  • Monitor and control food cost and wastage.
  • Follow opening and closing checklists diligently.
  • Optimize manpower and ensure efficient labour utilization.
  • Manage petty cash and reduce unnecessary expenses.
  • 4. People Management Conduct daily briefings, one-on-one sessions, and RNR (Rewards & Recognition) activities.
  • Ensure high standards of personal hygiene among team members.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Train team members on SOPs and prepare them for future roles.
  • Prepare and manage team duty rosters.
  • 5. Brand & Marketing Support local store marketing (LSM) for new product launches and order growth campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency and SOP implementation at the unit level.
  • Key Skills Required: Strong leadership and team management abilities
