Job Summary: The Pre-Primary Coordinator oversees the academic and operational functioning of the pre-primary section (Nursery, LKG, UKG). The role ensures a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment aligned with early childhood education standards. The coordinator supervises teachers, supports curriculum planning, monitors student progress, and acts as a bridge between school leadership and parents.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Academic LeadershipDevelop, implement, and review the early childhood curriculum.
  • Ensure age-appropriate teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
  • Guide teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and assessments.
  • Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize enrichment activities, theme-based learning, and events.
  • 2. Staff Supervision & DevelopmentSupervise and mentor pre-primary teachers and teaching assistants.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Identify professional development needs and arrange workshops.
  • Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
  • 3. Student Development & WelfareMonitor students’ academic, social, and emotional progress.
  • Address behavioral concerns in collaboration with teachers and parents.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly environment.
  • Support early identification of learning difficulties.
  • 4. Parent CommunicationConduct parent orientation sessions and meetings.

  • QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
  • Prior leadership or coordination experience preferred.
  • Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skills.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Instruction & Curriculum DeliveryPlan and deliver effective English lessons based on the prescribed curriculum.
