Job Summary: The Pre-Primary Coordinator oversees the academic and operational functioning of the pre-primary section (Nursery, LKG, UKG). The role ensures a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment aligned with early childhood education standards. The coordinator supervises teachers, supports curriculum planning, monitors student progress, and acts as a bridge between school leadership and parents.
- Key Responsibilities1. Academic LeadershipDevelop, implement, and review the early childhood curriculum.
- Ensure age-appropriate teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.
- Guide teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and assessments.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize enrichment activities, theme-based learning, and events.
- 2. Staff Supervision & DevelopmentSupervise and mentor pre-primary teachers and teaching assistants.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Identify professional development needs and arrange workshops.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
- 3. Student Development & WelfareMonitor students’ academic, social, and emotional progress.
- Address behavioral concerns in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly environment.
- Support early identification of learning difficulties.
- 4. Parent CommunicationConduct parent orientation sessions and meetings.

- QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in early childhood education.
- Prior leadership or coordination experience preferred.
- Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team management skills.
