Our growing childcare facility is looking for Female Preschool Teachers who can help to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development.

Strong desire for childrens’ development, an obsession for quality, strong communication skills rooted in clear work ethics are pre-requisite for the role.

Teachers with a diploma in Early Childhood Education and experience in pre-school teaching, creating or the use of innovative teaching methods will be preferred. Teachers who have a keen interest and zeal to develop a visually rich environment that injects life into the classes with art, craft, and drama are welcome as well.

• Creating and maintaining a safe, clean, stimulating classroom where all children feel safe and valued.
• Be approachable and treat children fairly and objectively. Treat children with dignity and respect.
• Preparation of the class setting, translating the learning teaching methodology in the classroom teaching.
• Ensure that a variety of materials and resources is provided to the kids to explore, use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
• Implementing curriculum and given planner with guided activities and take daily observation/anecdotes, plan for each activity.
• Responsible for child’s development and growth in various aspects. Inculcate discipline in and out of the classroom.
• Ensure that the parents concern is being addressed without affecting relationships with them.
• Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of high scope programs.
• Adapt a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children. Gear to the teaching to the needs of all students with a concern for their interests, handicaps, special talents, individual styles, and pace of learning.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem and encourage them to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments if any.
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are always safe. Supervise children during breaks, arrival, and dispersal points.
• Assist the coordinator in maintaining and updating records regarding events such as PTMs, Special days and Field trips.
• Protect and maintain all school property at any given point of time.
• Store, maintain, enhance the inventory and educational materials of the classroom. Conduct stock-taking of teaching aids on a regular basis along with the coordinator.
• Enforce all administration policies and rules.
• Participates in all the trainings.
• Ensure that any information deemed confidential by the coordinator is not transferred to a third party without his/her explicit knowledge.
• Mentoring junior/trainee teachers as necessary.

Candidates with less than two years of work experience will be considered for Junior or Support Teacher position.

• Junior Teachers will share teaching responsibilities with the Senior teacher and support her in class operations, discipline, and in preparing teaching aids.
