Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Associate to support the sales team by understanding customer needs, preparing proposals, and helping position our products and services effectively. This role bridges sales and technical teams and plays a key part in converting prospects into customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team during the pre-sales process by gathering and analyzing customer requirements
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, demos, and solution overviews
- Assist in creating proposals, quotations, RFP/RFI responses, and sales documentation
- Coordinate with technical, product, and operations teams to design appropriate solutions
- Conduct market and competitor research to support sales strategy
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, and documentation in CRM systems
- Address basic customer questions and provide clarifications prior to sale
- Support proof-of-concepts (POCs) and pilot projects when required
Qualifications & Skills
- plus 2 in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0–3 years of experience in pre-sales, sales support, or customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; CRM experience is a plus
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and customer-focused approach
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with sales or technical teams
- Familiarity with proposal writing and sales processes
- Industry knowledge relevant to the company’s products or services
