Job Description
- Operate steam press machines to finish laundered items such as uniforms, shirts, linens, and other textiles.
- Inspect each item for stains, damages, or repairs needed before and after pressing.
- Sort and organize laundry by type and pressing requirements.
- Adjust machine settings according to fabric types and garment specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and equipment.
- Fold, hang, or package finished items as required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.
- Follow all safety and hygiene procedures to prevent accidents and cross-contamination.
- Assist with other laundry duties as assigned (e.g., folding, sorting, tagging).
