Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager will lead both domestic and international strategic sourcing. This role is responsible for managing global vendor relationships, negotiating complex international contracts, and overseeing the end-to-end import/export process to ensure all specialized technical equipment and components reach their destination efficiently and in compliance with international laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Global Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance local procurement with international cost-efficiencies and quality standards.
• Import/Export Management: Oversee all cross-border logistics, including customs clearance, freight forwarding, and international shipping documentation (Incoterms, Bills of Lading, etc.).
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all international transactions comply with customs regulations, trade compliance laws, and import/export duties/taxes.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and audit global suppliers to ensure they meet stringent safety and quality benchmarks.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for international SLAs and maintenance contracts, factoring in currency fluctuations and global logistics risks.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Mitigate risks related to international lead times, port delays, and global supply chain disruptions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement with a strong emphasis on international sourcing and logistics.
• Deep knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and global trade compliance.
• Proven expertise in managing high-value contracts and global vendor performance.
