Sre Kateel Industries is a precision metal fabrication company supplying components and assemblies to leading OEMs in the automotive and industrial sectors. We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer who understands fabrication processes and shop-floor execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily production activities on the shop floor.
• Ensure on-time manufacturing and dispatch as per production schedule.
• Coordinate with design, quality, and stores teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor fabrication processes including laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and quality issues.
• Track productivity, material usage, and rejection rates.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety practices.

Requirements

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding, and assembly practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Good coordination with shop-floor teams and supervisors.

Preferred Experience:

• Sheet metal fabrication or structural fabrication
• Industrial equipment or machine structures
• Exposure to ISO-based manufacturing environments

Important:

This role requires regular presence on the shop floor and close coordination with operators and supervisors.
