Project Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quantity Take-Off & BOQ PreparationPrepare detailed BOQs for interior works including:

• Civil & finishing works
• Carpentry & modular furniture
• False ceiling, partitions & flooring
• MEP (coordination quantities)
• Carry out quantity take-offs from GFC drawings
• Update BOQs as per design changes and site conditions

2. Cost Estimation & BudgetingPrepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets

• Assist in tendering & rate analysis
• Evaluate vendor & subcontractor quotations
• Support value engineering and cost optimization

3. Billing & VariationsPrepare client RA bills and final bills

• Measure and certify subcontractor bills
• Track variations, extras & deviations
• Maintain variation registers and approval status

4. Cost Control & Project MonitoringTrack project cost vs budget

• Monitor material consumption vs BOQ
• Identify cost overruns and report to management
• Support cash-flow forecasting for projects

5. Coordination & DocumentationCoordinate with design, site, purchase & accounts teams

• Maintain QS documentation:
• BOQs
• Measurement sheets
• Billing abstracts
• Cost reports
• Support project audits and handover documentation
