Purchase Executive

• Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability
• Raise and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) as per company policy
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules to optimize costs
• Ensure timely procurement of materials/services to meet operational and project requirements
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and project/production teams for material planning
• Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Verify GRN, invoices, and supporting documents for accuracy before submitting to accounts
• Maintain proper documentation of purchases, vendor records, and contracts
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, shortages, quality problems, or billing discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory norms
• Assist in cost analysis, budgeting, and procurement reporting
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors
