Purchase Executive

Job Summary: The Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement process for construction materials and services. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials to meet project needs, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Sourcing and Selection: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct market research, and attend industry events to find reliable vendors.

Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best value and quality.

Purchase Orders: Create and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Order Tracking: Monitor order status, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers, address concerns, and collaborate to improve efficiency.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and manage reorder processes to avoid stockouts.

Compliance: Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and industry standards.

Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of the procurement process.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction industry.

Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills, excellent analytical and communication abilities, and a good understanding of construction project needs.
